Regularly. They are equipment-rich — refrigeration, conveyors and sorting lines, compressors, electrical distribution, process cooling — and they frequently carry fuel tanks, chemical storage and legacy agricultural materials that need identifying before demolition rather than during it.
What comes first on a cold storage teardown?+
Certified refrigerant recovery with documentation. Nothing structural happens until that is done and recorded. Then the compressors, condensers and evaporators come out as recoverable equipment, then the insulated panel system, then the building.
How much of my demolition cost can equipment offset?+
It depends entirely on what is in the building. On an equipment-light warehouse, very little. On a packing house or a facility with substantial refrigeration and electrical gear, the credit can be a large proportion of the job. We appraise before quoting so you see both numbers rather than one.
Is the Treasure Coast far enough to add travel cost?+
No. Two hours is normal scheduled range for our crews and there is no out-of-region charge on Treasure Coast work. Site walks happen within the week.
