Why buy a used chiller
A well-maintained used chiller does the same job as a new one for a fraction of the price and none of the manufacturing lead time. For facilities on a tight capital budget, a temporary or backup cooling need, or a replacement on a unit that failed unexpectedly, a used chiller is often the smartest money on the table — especially in Florida, where cooling load runs hard most of the year and downtime isn't an option.
The key is buying from someone who actually knows the unit's history. Our chillers come out of plant decommissions we perform ourselves, so we can tell you when it last ran, what refrigerant it uses, and what condition it's in — not guess at it the way an auction reseller does.
